A new low

My lawn-care philosophy is that

• every two weeks is plenty to mow
• every month is plenty for weed whacking, and
  
• edging is strictly optional.

Rachel had enough and hired a professional to do a good job today. It cost $40 -- more than the usual rate of $33 because of the profound state of neglect things were in, he said -- but Rachel pronounced herself pleased with the results.
