Matthew was nicknamed "Peanut" by his mother shortly after birth. How shortly, we're not really sure anymore; within the first few sleep-deprived days is all we remember.
Matthew never did go through that period of sleeping all the time that baby books tell you newborns are supposed to have. Since his first abnormally alert days he's just become more and more active, and at some point his uncle Grant conferred upon him the moniker Savage.

Laundry Fairy's Ditty
This is the laundry that never ends,
Yes, it goes on and on my friend.
One lady started doing it, not realizing how much it was,
And she'll forever wash and fold it just because-
Oh, I hear you, Rachel! More than any other household chore, laundry is the one thing that I feel like I can never be totally on top of. Even after I may have just finished all obvious loads (not even thinking about all the things I SHOULD wash but don't often enough, like the curtains, bedspreads, pillows, etc.), my kids have the wonderful talent of choosing that moment to have a potty training accident, dump out a gallon of milk, throw up in bed, etc. So fun!
